T he carefully selected grapes are macerated and fermented, after de-stemming, for about 10 days at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation which is carried out in stainless steel tanks.

Land from the volcanic sands, derived from the fulfillment of masses of lava, very rich in minerals, at an altitude ranging from 650 to 900 mt above sea level with considerable variations between day and night.

Cultivation of the vineyard

Espalier with spurred cordon.

Harvesting period

Second - Third week of October.


After an initial aging in stainless steel tanks, the wine continues to mature for 5-6 months in French oak barrels, and finally for another 3-4 months in the bottle.

Alcoholic content

13% vol.

Tasting notes

To view: light ruby red;
To the nose: intense and elegant aroma with notes of red fruits, spices and licorice;
On the palate: dry, robust and persistent with a pleasant aftertaste balsamic;
Combinations: excellent with dishes of meat and rich sauces, roasts, sausage and mushrooms, cheese medium-long maturation;
Sized sold: bottles of 0,375 lt and 0,750 lt;
Serving temperature: 16 - 18° C.
